Kiwiberries are from the same family as kiwifruit. Kiwiberries are small (approx. 5-20 grams), have smooth hairless edible skins, and vary in shape from round to oval. They are about the size of a grape and look very similar to a gooseberry.
New Zealand growers manage their orchards closely to ensure close management of the canopy throughout the growing season. This ensures the fruit is grown with plenty of sunshine and wind protection. And as a result, this produces fruit that is blemish free, nutritionally superior and full of flavour.
